Gifford is one of the oldest communities in Indian River County, settled in the mid-1880s just north of Vero Beach in ZIP 32967. First called Brownsville, it was renamed for Charlie Gifford, the Florida East Coast Railway stationmaster. It's the hometown of several of The Highwaymen landscape painters, and the Gifford Historical Museum opened in 2018 in the former Macedonia Church (Gifford, Florida).
Call (321) 220-9883Older homes, older wells
Many Gifford homes are decades old, and some still run original well equipment.
- Worn jet pumps that run but don't build pressure.
- Rusted pressure tanks past the end of their life.
- Old wiring and switches that fail after a storm.
An honest answer
Sometimes a small part gets the water back. Sometimes the pump is finished. Either way you'll hear which, and why, and the price before any work starts. See well pump replacement.
Common questions
Where is Gifford?
Just north of Vero Beach along US 1 and 43rd Avenue, in ZIP 32967.
Is it worth fixing a very old well pump?

Will I get a price first?
Yes. The contractor diagnoses the problem and gives a price before any work.
